KERN PYRAMID NANO Machining Centre

With accuracies of ± 1 micron on the workpiece the KERN PYRAMID NANO machine sets new standards in the field of precision machining.

Travels X= 500 mm Y= 500 mm Z= 500mm

Spindle speeds either 500 to 50,000 rpm or 200 to 36,000 rpm

The key to its success is the regulation of the axis movements by hydrostatic guidesways with an 18µm pressurised film of oil and a hydrostatic drive system. All the axes movements are temperature controlled.

As with the KERN EVO machine 4th/5th Axis tables and automatic workpiece loading capabilities are available

A HEIDENHAIN iTNC 530 control system enhances the capabilities available.
